Welcome to our website! The Alpha Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is proud to be a leader in service in the Durham Community. Since 1928,Alpha Zeta Omega Chapter has been involved in service to all mankind to all ages – from pre-school to retirement age.Our Summer Youth Camp, Debutante Cotillion Program and Business and Health seminars – just to name a few of our activities – have enriched the lives of many over the years. This year we are especially excited to begin to implement our service initiatives under the theme of our International President Carolyn House Stewart – Global Leadership Through Timeless Service.As you peruse this site, you will learn more about Alpha Zeta Omega’s upcoming service projects and understand why we “do what we do”. You will also see that we are especially blessed to have a wonderful “home” at the Ivy Community Center on Fayetteville Street in Durham, North Carolina The Ivy Community Center provides a place for many of our community service, outreach and education activities in addition to serving as a gathering place for many other service organizations in the City of Durham.So, I invite you to take a look around, review our history and our service projects or in other words – learn more about the Alpha Zeta Omega Chapter.
